Ingredients

  • 1 bag coleslaw or chop your own cabbage/carrot mixture
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1-2 Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 small onion minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of cayenne if desired

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the coleslaw mix.
Add the slaw mix to the dressing and toss well.
Taste and adjust the amount of dressing, vinegar, or sugar as needed.
The slaw should be slightly sweet with a hint of heat from the mustard and vinegar.
Garnish with additional cayenne if desired for extra flavor.
Let the coleslaw sit in the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes before serving for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, let the coleslaw sit overnight in the fridge.
  • You can add raisins, apple slices, or chopped nuts for extra texture and flavor if desired.
  • If you prefer a tangier version, add more vinegar or mustard.
