Ingredients
1bagcoleslawor chop your own cabbage/carrot mixture
1cupMiracle Whip
1/3cupgranulated sugar
1-2Tablespoonswhite vinegar
1/2smallonionminced
1/2teaspoondry mustard
1/4teaspooncelery salt
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
pinch of cayenneif desired
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the coleslaw mix.Add the slaw mix to the dressing and toss well.Taste and adjust the amount of dressing, vinegar, or sugar as needed.The slaw should be slightly sweet with a hint of heat from the mustard and vinegar.Garnish with additional cayenne if desired for extra flavor.Let the coleslaw sit in the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes before serving for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, let the coleslaw sit overnight in the fridge.
