Creamy Tomatillo Dressing A creamy dressing made with tomatillos, cilantro, lime juice, and ranch seasoning. A refreshing and tangy dressing for salads, grilled meats, or as a dip. – 1 (1 oz.) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix (3 Tablespoons) – 1 cup buttermilk – 1 cup mayonnaise – 1 large tomatillo (or two small) – 1 clove garlic minced – 1/2 bunch cilantro chopped – 1/2 teaspoon lime juice – 1/2-1 small jalapeno seeded 1) In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients.Blend until smooth and well combined.Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.Use as a dressing for salads, a topping for tacos, or a dip for vegetables or chips. The longer the dressing sits, the spicier it will get, especially with the jalapeño. Adjust the heat level by using less or more jalapeño. For a creamier dressing, add more mayonnaise or buttermilk depending on your desired consistency. This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

  • 1 (1 oz.) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix (3 Tablespoons)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large tomatillo (or two small)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2-1 small jalapeno seeded

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients.
    Blend until smooth and well combined.
    Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
    Use as a dressing for salads, a topping for tacos, or a dip for vegetables or chips.

Notes

  • The longer the dressing sits, the spicier it will get, especially with the jalapeño. Adjust the heat level by using less or more jalapeño.
  • For a creamier dressing, add more mayonnaise or buttermilk depending on your desired consistency.
  • This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
