Hot Fudge Topping

Hot Fudge Topping
Ingredients
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter together, stirring occasionally.Stir in the sugar and evaporated milk, cooking the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.Allow the fudge topping to cool before serving over your favorite desserts.
Notes
- If you want a thicker sauce, let it cook a little longer.Store any leftover hot fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
