Cocktail Sauce
This homemade cocktail sauce is tangy, spicy, and perfect for pairing with shrimp, oysters, or other seafood. With just a few ingredients, it’s easy to prepare and brings a burst of flavor to any appetizer platter.

Cocktail Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 cups chili sauce
- 2 Tablespoons tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- juice of one lemon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well blended.Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.Serve with seafood such as shrimp, oysters, or crab cakes.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of mustard or lemon juice to taste if you prefer a spicier or more tangy flavor.For a thicker consistency, add a small amount of ketchup or reduce the tomato juice.This cocktail sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
