Cheesy Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 cup bisquick baking mix
- 3 cups cheddar cheese grated (I like sharp for more flavor)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3-1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.Combine the ground beef, garlic powder, biscuit mix, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese in a bowl. If the mixture seems too dry, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk to loosen it up.Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is melting out.Serve: These meatballs are best served hot and can be enjoyed as a snack or appetizer.
Notes
- Milk: If you prefer a firmer texture, use less milk. If you like them a bit more moist, add the full 1/2 cup.
- Cheese: For a stronger cheese flavor, consider using sharp cheddar.
- Storage: These meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage. Reheat before serving.
