Soft, buttery breadsticks topped with garlic powder and parmesan cheese, baked to golden perfection. This easy recipe is a great addition to any meal, especially when served warm right out of the oven.
1/2cupparmesan cheeseplus extra for sprinkling (as desired)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients. Dough should be a little sticky. Knead for 3 minutes. Let dough rest for 15 minutes.Melt 1 full stick of butter, pour half in a cookie sheet, and spread evenly.Roll dough out in the cookie sheet, pour remaining butter on top and spread. Sprinkle with garlic powder and parmesan cheese.Let rise for another 15–20 minutes.Bake at 375°F for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Use a pizza cutter to cut desired stick sizes.
Notes
For added flavor, you can brush with more butter after baking or sprinkle with a little extra parmesan cheese while hot.
These breadsticks can also be made in advance and frozen before baking. Simply let them rise, then freeze and bake when ready.
