Instructions
Melt Butter and Sugar:In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, sugar, and water together. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.Add Chocolate Chips:Stir in 1 package (12 oz) chocolate chips and vanilla extract to the melted butter mixture. Stir until the chocolate chips are fully melted and the mixture is smooth.Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to cool slightly.Mix Dry Ingredients:In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour.Add Eggs and Flour:Add 4 eggs to the cooled chocolate mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.Gradually add the flour mixture and stir until combined.Add the Remaining Chocolate Chips:Stir in the remaining 1 package of chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.Bake:Pour the batter into a greased large cookie sheet. Spread the batter evenly in the pan.Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter). Storage: These brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Just make sure to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap before freezing.
