Instructions
In a large bowl or mixer, combine yeast, water, and sugar. Stir and let sit for 5 minutes to activate. Add olive oil, salt, and vinegar, then gradually add flour until dough is smooth and elastic.Let dough rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes. Once it has doubled in size, punch down the dough and spread it out on a greased cookie sheet, about 1/3 inch thick.Preheat the oven to 500°F. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic. Brush this mixture over the dough.Sprinkle with parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly across the dough.Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.Remove from the oven and slice into breadsticks. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a softer texture, allow the dough to rest longer before baking.
If you like a crunchier crust, let the breadsticks bake for a few more minutes, keeping an eye on them to avoid burning.
You can customize the topping with your favorite seasonings like oregano, parsley, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for added spice.
