Christmas Syrup
This rich and buttery Christmas Syrup is perfect for drizzling over pancakes, waffles, French toast, or holiday desserts. Creamy, sweet, and warmly spiced with vanilla, it’s an easy treat that adds festive flavor to any breakfast or dessert table.

Christmas Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup.Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.Reduce heat slightly and simmer for 5 minutes, continuing to stir to prevent scorching.Remove from heat. Stir in the heavy cream until smooth and fully incorporated.Add vanilla extract and stir to combine.Allow the syrup to cool slightly before serving.Reheat gently in the microwave or on the stove as needed.
Notes
- Adding the cream at the end prevents curdling and ensures a smooth, creamy syrup.
- Store leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Gently reheat before serving; do not boil again to maintain texture.
