Nacho Layer Dip

Nacho Layer Dip

A layered dip made with a creamy first layer, a zesty avocado layer, and topped with fresh tomatoes, olives, and shredded cheese. Perfect for dipping tortilla chips or crackers.

Ingredients

1st Layer

  • 1 can bean dip
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pint sour cream

2nd Layer

  • 3 avocados peeled, pitted and mashed
  • 3 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 green onions diced

3rd Layer

  • 3 tomatoes seeded and chopped
  • 1 can olives sliced
  • finely shredded cheese as desired

Instructions

  • Mix the first four ingredients (bean dip, mayonnaise, taco seasoning, and sour cream) together in a bowl and spread the mixture evenly on a large round plate or dish.
    In a separate bowl, mash the avocados and combine with lemon juice and diced green onions. Spread this mixture evenly over the first layer.
    Sprinkle the chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, and shredded cheese over the top.
    Serve immediately with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

  • This dip is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for a few hours before serving.
    Add jalapeños or hot sauce to spice it up if desired.
    Garnish with extra green onions, sour cream, or salsa for added flavor.
