Orange Fruit Dip

This sweet and tangy orange fruit dip is the perfect complement to fresh fruit. With a smooth, creamy texture and refreshing orange flavor, it’s a favorite for parties and family gatherings.

A family favorite, passed down from Irene Gammell.

Orange Fruit Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce concentrated orange juice
  • 1 cup water (or 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup pineapple juice for added flavor)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine the water (or water and pineapple juice), sugar, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture thickens and becomes clear.
Cover the sauce directly with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming. Allow it to cool.
Once cooled, stir in the orange juice concentrate and whipped cream until smooth.
Serve with fresh fruit such as strawberries, pineapple, or melon.

Notes

  • This dip can be made ahead and refrigerated.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar depending on your preference.
If you prefer a thicker dip, reduce the amount of water or increase the cornstarch slightly.
