1 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
3/4cupgranulated sugar
2teaspoonsbaking powder

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground nutmeg.Add wet ingredients: Add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.Spoon into muffin tin: Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.Prepare topping: While the muffins are baking, mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.Coat muffins: When muffins are done, allow them to cool for 5 minutes. Then, while they are still warm, sprinkle or dip the tops in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
