Christmas Syrup
This Christmas Syrup is rich, buttery, and lightly caramelized with vanilla. It’s a festive topping for pancakes, waffles, or French toast and comes together quickly on the stovetop.

Christmas Syrup
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, heavy cream, and corn syrup.Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is well combined.Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use a large saucepan to prevent boiling over.Syrup will thicken slightly as it cools.Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated gently in the microwave or on the stovetop.
